The vinyl tiles are generally selected by their abrasion-resistance depending on where they are used. In general, tiles with 0.2mm abrasion-resistant layer are suitable for residence, tiles with 0.3mm abrasion-resistant layer are suitable for commercial spaces, and tiles with 0.5mm or more abrasion-resistant layer are suitable for light industries.

Floorworks tiles are generally used in commercial buildings or the living room, bedrooms, kid’s room or a study in a household. As PVC tiles get expanded after absorbing water, unless the bathroom is separated as dry and wet zone, the vinyl tiles are not recommended.

The common wooden flooring are porus material and structure; therefore, they tend to expand and shrink under the influence of temperature and humidity, pest, and 3D deformation; but the natural rock materials are heavy, fragile to scratch, and noisy. The challenging maintenance of natural building materials is also an inherent weakness. The general publics are concerned with the endocrine disruptors on plastic products. The main source of the toxic comes from the PAE in the materials. To cut off the toxicity of the endocrine disruptors and volatile substances, Floorworks choose to use DINCH and the powder Calcium zinc stabilizer as the materials, to ensure the infants and toddlers are safe when their skin contact the vinyl tiles.

Currently, Floorworks offers tiles with four different thickness as 1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0; the thicker the tile is, the tile is more durable. Except for the total thickness, it is possible to choose the appropriate tiles by the thickness of the top layer. For instance, the commercial areas usually consume 0.1mm per year.

Just wipe the tiles with a mop or dampened cloth. Shall there be any stain, you may remove it with long brushes.

（1）Sweep the flooring tiles first. If there is any dirt, it may be removed with the neutral detergent and 3M red scouring pad gently.

（2）Spray the floor detergent on the tiles (according to the instructions of the detergent), clean the dirt on the tiles with a waxing machine, and wipe the floor dry with a dry mop. Then cleanse the tiles with water (if there is no waxing machine, please use other tools to remove the dirt with care).

（3）After the floor is dry, the use a clean dry mop to wax the floor evenly with water wax.

（4）it takes about 20 minute for the water was getting dry. The floor is only to be stepped when the wax is dry. The fan may be used to shorten the time. Based on our experience, it takes about eight hours for the floor to be fully dry. Before moving anything heavy, the wax has to be fully dry, so that the tiles are kept the luster.

（5）The above description is for the general cleaning. After being waxed many times, the tiles may become yellowish. In this circumstance, the old wax has to be removed from the tiles with the wax remover. Spray the remover on the spot where the wax is to be removed, and wait for 10-15 minutes. After the remover penetrates to the tiles, spray some water on the tiles. The wax has to be removed completely, otherwise the re-application of wax would not make the tiles shine.

（6）The step (1) to (4) shall be followed after the wax is removed.
