The wear-resistance of vinyl flooring usually depends on the type of space. 0.2 mm wear layers are suitable for home use, 0.3 mm wear layers are suitable for commercial spaces, while 0.5 mm or thicker wear layers are suitable for light industrial applications.
Floorworks flooring is mostly used in commercial office buildings or in residential living rooms, children’s bedrooms or studies. PVC flooring will swell up if soaked in water so their use in bathrooms is not recommended unless there are separate wet and dry areas.

There are public concerns about environmental hormones in plastic products. The toxicity usually originates from pthalates in the production process; to eliminate hormone toxicity and volatile substances, Floorworks went to great lengths to use Di(isononyl) cyclohexane-1,2-dicarboxylate (DINCH) and Calcium Zinc Stabilizers in powder form as raw materials to ensure that there are no safety concerns with babies and infants during skin contact.

Thicker products are more durable.Apart from total thickness, the thickness of the top layer can also be used as a guide for choosing the right flooring. Regular cleaning with a damp mop or wipe cloth is generally adequate. Stains can be scrubbed with a long-handled brush.
(1) First, clean the flooring thoroughly. Any grime can be carefully scrubbed away using a neutral detergent and 3M’s red scrub pad.
(2) Spray the floor cleaner (please use as directed) on the flooring. Use the floor buffer to clean the grime from the floor then dry with a dry mop. Now, wipe down the floor thoroughly with clean water (if no floor buffer is available, other tools can be used to carefully polish the grime away).
(3) Wait for the floor to dry then poor water-based wax onto a clean, dry mop then just apply evenly over the floor.
(4) Wait 20 minutes until the surface wax is dry before setting foot on the floor. An electric fan can be directed at the floor to dry it more quickly. Based on past experience, it takes floor wax about 8 hours to dry thoroughly after application. Heavy objects should only be moved after this time when the wax has thoroughly dried. This will help to keep the floor looking bright and glossy.
(5) The four steps above is for general cleaning. If the flooring has been in use for some time and had been waxed repeatedly, once the surface begins to show signs of yellowing then dewaxing is required. Dewaxing: Apply the dewaxing floor detergent directly without diluting with water. Spray evenly over the target area and wait 10 ~ 15 minutes. Once the dewaxing agent has penetrated into the flooring, wet the flooring with water. All of the old wax must be thoroughly removed to ensure a fresh new look after rewaxing.
(6) Once all of the wax is removed, follow steps 1 ~ 4 for cleaning and maintenance.
